Industrial Generator Control Upgrades

Whether your generator is new or old the controls can be upgraded to provide simpler operation and to ensure the operator has easy to view information, generator set controls, alarms and monitoring.

  • Single Gen-Set

Modern generators have engine control units that aftermarket controllers can communicate with giving you visibility of all the parameters and readings the engine control takes. If your generator doesn't have an engine control unit, sensors can be installed to give you visibility of all the engine parameters.

  • Multiple Gen-Sets

In many large facilities multiple generators are in a parallel configuration. Parallel configurations are more cost effective and can feature generator redundancy. Individual or multiple generators start, synchronise with the mains, load to site load then disconnect the mains all without any power interruptions. This can also be done in reverse. This is critical for sites that must carry out load testing of generators. Most generators, by upgrading their controls, can facilitate this synchronisation and load sharing with the mains or another power source.
